Smoking, damage and loss of keys

We are a completely non-smoking establishment. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the hotel, including the rooms. Application of decree no. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 setting the conditions for the application of the smoking ban in the places affected. We reserve the right to issue a fine of €400 to any guest who has smoked in the room and refuse them access to the hotel in the future. We cannot tolerate this abuse, because beyond the discomfort of our next client, it leads to a complete cleaning of all the textiles in the room and a closure of the room for 2 days (hence a loss of operation).

We ask you to respect the premises, as well as the decoration of your room and the common areas. In the event of a problem, the customer will have to engage his civil liability.
During your stay, you will be given a set of keys allowing you free access to your room. In case of loss, the repair will be invoiced to you 50,00€.

By booking, you assume full responsibility for everyone in your group. All damages caused by cigarettes or other reasons will be charged to the credit card provided when booking, with a minimum of €100.

Arrival and departure

Please note that the reception is not open 24 hours a day.
Entries are between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
For any arrival that differs from this time slot, please contact us by telephone so that we can inform you of the terms of access to the hotel.
Payment for your stay will be due upon departure. However, a reservation can be made upon arrival on the bank card provided at the time of booking.
The rooms are to be vacated by 10 a.m. on the morning of your departure.

Access to rooms

The rooms are available from 3 p.m. and must be vacated by 11 a.m.
(Beyond these hours, the hotel reserves the right to charge you a supplement)
The hotel room is not intended for doing laundry or eating meals.
In the event of excessive consumption that does not come from our establishment and that no prior agreement has been given, we reserve the right to charge a fixed corkage fee of 50 EUR which will be debited from the credit card provided at the time of booking.

People with reduced mobility

Our hotel is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. All our rooms are located on the first floor minimum without elevator.
Only the restaurant is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Visitation rights

Standard rooms are for two people. Some suites can accommodate up to four people. To ensure the security rules of the establishment, you cannot under any circumstances accommodate additional people.


It is served between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the dining room located on the ground floor.


To respect the rest of other customers, be careful not to slam the doors or make too much noise.

Valuable objects

The hotel declines all responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Please ensure that you have locked your room before leaving.


Pets are allowed at the property for an extra charge of EUR 10 per night.
However, for reasons of hygiene, animals are not allowed in the dining room.

Terms of Sales

Booking conditions

Any reservation to be firm and final, must be guaranteed by a credit card number accompanied by its expiry date.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event that the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.
All reservations are maintained until 7 p.m., after which time the hotelier may have the room(s) reserved unless the customer has notified the hotelier of a late arrival.
All reservations constitute firm orders.

Cancellation or modification of reservation

If you need to cancel or modify your reservation after it has been confirmed, cancellation fees will apply:
The customer can cancel his reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival.
The customer will have to pay the total amount of the reservation if he cancels within 2 days prior to arrival.
If the customer does not show up, he will have to pay the total amount of the reservation.
Non-refundable: The customer must pay the total amount of the reservation if he cancels at any time.
If you shorten your stay once you arrive, you will be charged at the normal rate unless the room can be resold.
Any cancellation must be sent by email or telephone.
In the event of interruption of the stay, early departure or no-show, this will result in the total cancellation of your reservation. No refund will be made, the reserved stay is due in its entirety.
If the cancellation is to take effect from the date of an oral communication, the written confirmation will expressly refer to it. All written documents received from the hotel with reference to the oral communication will exempt the client from any subsequent re-confirmation in writing.

We remind our kind customers that the internal rules of the hotel apply to all reservations.
Accepting the rental of the room at the price indicated means accepting the special conditions and the internal regulations of the hotel.

Case of force majeure

Any event external to the parties that is both unpredictable and insurmountable, which prevents L’Auberge des Crêtes from fulfilling all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract, is considered to be a case of force majeure. This is particularly the case in the event of a strike, insurrection, riot, prohibitions enacted by governmental or public authorities. It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends the performance of the obligations of L’Auberge des Crêtes and that the other party bears the cost of the resulting costs. In particular, customers will bear only the additional costs that may be incurred to allow the continuation of their trip, following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.

The Auberge des Crêtes reserves the right to cancel a reservation in the event of severe weather.
